"Easy fix for my glasses"
Popped in because my frames needed a small repair and adjustment. I thought it might be a hassle, but it was straightforward. The staff got it sorted quickly, though it somehow felt like I was there longer than I was. My glasses fit much better now, so no complaints really, or maybe just that I should’ve gone in sooner

"Nice staff, just a little wait"
The staff were really friendly and actually took the time to help me without making me feel rushed. I did have to wait a bit, but I’m blaming the busy schedule more than anyone there. Overall, it was an easy visit and I left feeling good about it.

"Prescription was spot on"
I got my new glasses from OPSM the prescription felt right from the moment I put them on. No headaches, no weird adjustment period, which I’ve definitely dealt with elsewhere before. Reading is clear again and driving feels much easier. When you’re paying for something as important as your eyesight, it’s only fair that they get it right, and in this case they did. Happy overall and I’d use them again.

"Okay visit, just wish it felt cleaner"
I popped into OPSM for an eye check and overall it was fine, nothing awful or anything. The store just didn’t feel as clean as I expected, the floors had a bit of dust around and some of the display areas looked a little messy :/

The staff were friendly enough, which definitely helped, but I guess I expected the place to feel a bit fresher. When you’re looking at glasses and frames, clean displays kind of make a difference, you know?

"Couldn’t find a workable appointment nearby"
I tried booking an eye test through opsm.com.au and found the whole thing frustrating, though maybe I just picked a bad time to look.

Every store near me either had nothing decent for weeks or only had odd times when I’d be at work. I checked more than once thinking maybe something would open up, but it didn’t really change much.

I guess it might be okay if you’re not in a hurry, but I needed something sooner. In the end I booked somewhere else because it was just easier

I had a really good experience here. The optometrist was professional, kind, and made everything feel easy from start to finish. I don’t remember every little detail about the order, which probably means nothing went wrong. What I do remember is it showed up quicker than I expected, and everything was fine when it arrived. Smooth overall.

The eye exam itself was okay and the optometrist was friendly, but the whole appointment felt a little rushed. I got my prescription sorted, which is what I needed, but I wish they had explained things a bit more. I also expected a faster response when I had questions afterward.

"Scratched up way too quickly"
Got a new pair of glasses from OPSM disappointed. Lenses started showing scratches after only a few weeks, even though they’ve mostly been kept in the case. Also noticed the vision feels a bit blurry around the edges. Not what I expected for the price.

"Confusing experience with insurance"
Not a great experience at OPSM. I was trying to use my insurance and Medicare, and it just got messy. No clear explanation. One person told me one thing, then someone else said something different. I ended up paying more than I thought I would, and I’m still not really sure what was even claimed. Frustrating. Felt like I was just being passed around instead of helped. I wouldn’t go back.

"Found a decent pair, but the range felt a bit limited"
I went into OPSM hoping to find a new pair of frames and had one of those moments where I kept picking up different pairs, trying them on, then realizing they all looked a bit too similar. There were definitely some nice options, and I did end up finding a pair that suited me well enough, but I was expecting a bit more variety in the store. The ones that stood out more were also pricier than I thought they’d be.

Afterwards, I had a look on the website and found it easier to browse through everything, but I still felt like there could’ve been more choice in terms of shapes and colours. It wasn’t a bad experience at all, just not super exciting if you’re fussy about frames like I am. Overall, decent, but kind of average.

Ordered glasses from OPSM online and the health fund claim was straightforward. Uploaded the receipt after and that was it. Took a few extra days, but nothing major. I’d use it again.

"Warranty return was handled, just not quickly"
I’ll be honest, I was mostly paying attention to how long the warranty return took, and that part felt slower than I expected. In the end, it did get sorted out, so I can’t complain too much, but the wait was definitely the thing that stood out to me.
